Design Journal - Day 4
November 25th, 2018

It was decided by my partners and me, to have me build the base with my dad because my dad has the necessary materials, which is the wood for the base, so the cost for the base was free. We decided to use wood to build the base since wood is sturdy and a standard choice for constructing a project. My dad cut out the parts for the base this morning with the measurements I asked for. I used the nail gun to put the base together, as the nail gun saves more time and is more accurate than a hammer and nails. Here's a picture of the base.
The base is 89.5 cm in length, 54 cm in width, and 14.5 cm in height. We used a measuring tape to measure the dimensions. This is a milestone for our toy project because the base is the first step into building our final toy project.
